I was first drawn to yoga to counter the stresses of modern life, in my case whilst working as a corporate film producer during my 20’s and 30’s. It helped me feel calmer and physically stronger, and gave me techniques to improve my energy and mood. It’s fair to say I’ve been hooked ever since.
I’ve now been practicing yoga for almost two decades, and teaching since 2013.
I base my teaching style on what first resonated with me – an exploration of how movement can transform how we feel within our own body, and also incorporate my fascination with anatomy and breathing well.
I've been practising yoga daily for over a decade and throughout that time it's been an anchor in my life - keeping me fit, healthy, strong, happy, and grounded throughout 3 pregnancies, a complete change of career and plenty of life events along the way.
I teach the kind of classes that I love to practise myself – those which get the energy flowing and leave you feeling happier and healthier than when you arrived on the mat. I’m always exploring and deepening my own practice and am fully qualified to teach each of the types of yoga that I offer.
